V guys planned a rafting trip with not so familiar ppl.. No one knew each other so well.. So everyone must b a bit hesitant for sure
Day 1:
The day started late, v decided to assemble at 5.30 in the morning but v were late, v started at 7.30am.. V were very late.. We hired 2 cabs and there were 5 ppl in our cab, all the familiar ppl together.. Had breakfast at a roadside dhaba, at first go, i felt as if 2 diff groups will b formed but Harshim introduced every1 with each other breaking the ice.. There was no more hesitation left, within seconds, every1 behaved as if they know each other since ages.
Me n beckham felt a bit out of place as all the conversation was in punjabi, also the music that was playing in the cab was punjabi, so v were hardly getting anything, v juz plugged in our headphones and slept but even that was fun.. Mawali TV was ON throught the journey, and as usual, it was fun.. Whole day was spent in travelling..
On the way v stopped at POUNTA SAHIB for some religious excursion.. It was divine and satiating..
V reached our camp at around 4pm..
The trekking was followed by a long walk till the grocery store.. It was definitely a walk we all will remember throughout our lives.. Paaji showed his hidden talent of BOLIS.. the way he said and sang songs was marvellous.. He set the ambience for all of us, he sang and v danced along with shouting and applauding.. Every was in a party mood, all were dancing in the middle of the middle of the road, every1 was high in spirits, dancing like crazy, shouting like junglees and jumping like monkeys.. Sometimes its so much fun to leave the sophistication behind and njoii life the junglee way.
Met new frnz.. Very lively and jolly people.. Hum's partner, SANDEEP, very decent and nice guy to know, a bit shy in nature but still a party person.. Harshim, definitely a girl one shud b frnz with, beautiful, lively and fun loving, Very committed and still so friendly. Unlike all the stupid girls, who juz throw tantrums of their commitment, she is so different.. Good to c both of them together :-)
Ankush, the most fuN luving of the group.. Verbose and funky, and the most expressive and very very friendly..
Richa, the loudness, the centre of gravity of the girls group, somewat reserved and singer, she sang fir the entire time along with the speakers till v slept.
Pooja, decent and introvert and a party person, good to be around and cheetah ka female version type of a girl.. Full aish types..
Niharika, the dancer, the freak and a combo of introvert/extrovert and one word that defines her is gutsy.. She did all the things with ease that could give guys a tough competition. I nicknamed her as GUNDI :P
Before the trek, v spent some time sittin in the middle of the river with our legs in the cold water.. It was a bliss.. After the trek, the guys were busy drinking and me n harry paaji were busy dancing with the girls in the group followed by loudness session sitting in the middle of the river again..
So much fun.. Splendiferous experience!!
The way harshim told us about her and Sandeep was marvellous, it was a serious topic told in a very jolly way to hold the interest of the listener. Hats off!!
Then obviously our cheetahs were there to make sure that v dont get bored even for a sec.. Bhagat's philosophies, mawali tv, paaji's one liners made sure that v go n on laughing:-)
Despite of meeting for the first time, v all gelled up sooo well as if v all know each other since ages.. The day was fantabulous and i loved the time spent with ma new frnz.. Thanx guys, love u all:-)
